Our dream: A world united through football.

Japan proposes to host a FIFA World Cup™ where—starting with the 208 FIFA member countries—everyone everywhere will participate in the wonderful World Cup experience and share in the joy and excitement of football; a tournament where the thrill of the World Cup reaches beyond developed nations to touch people all over the world, including the 1.1 billion suffering from poverty and hunger; a World Cup that provides an exciting and realistic football experience that makes people the world over feel as though they’re right there in the stadium. We wish to unite the world with smiles through the FIFA World Cup™ organised in Japan.

The spine of the book even contains a PlayStation Portable with videos about our bid. At 7.3kg, the Bid Book is no lightweight, but that’s hardly a surprise.
